Designed and built by natural building firm Studio BOA, this ADU uses an innovative, pre-fabricated “straw panel” system to create the structure of the house. Straw is a sustainable building material and provides a high insulative value. The interior was finished with earth plaster, giving the space a warm, natural ambience. As a crew-member, I participated in the following parts of the project:
